Do you believe that human beings are born more intelligent in the present day than centuries ago?

on average do you think that people's intellect relies more on the knowledge that is accesable during the time they live in or that they physialogicly get more intelligent as time goes on? so in other words are we smarter only because we have such large shoulders of our ancsestors to sit on or are humans brains working on a higher level then they did hundreds of years ago
