Lawsuit against Kudzu.com or other giant websites. Please help.?

Kudzu.com is a part of the gigantic Cox Enterprises. The web site has my company name on it with a few very bad reviews from customers I've never had. I tried to call and they will not forward me to anyone of importance. They told me if I want to respond, it'll be $1000, if I want it removed, it'll be $7500. I told them they will hear from my attorney, and they basically laughed. Have there been any precedent extortion, slander, or other types of cases against Kudzu or like sites that may be good reference? Any information will be helpful.
