HS Senior planning ahead for NUPOC?

Im currently a senior in high school. I have narrowed down my college tracks to two possibilities. I can go to Texas A&M and start on my nuclear engineering degree (TAMU is one of the top engineering schools in the nation) there and join the NROTC detachment present. Or I can join Marion's Service Academy Prep (SAP) program and go to the Naval Academy after one year there; pursuing the same degree. uming my grades and GPA were the same, which track would make me more competitive for NUPOC?
