Question over a 1957-59 Ford?

I'm 16, and would like to get a 1957-59 Ford for restoration. I already have almost completed a 1967 Ford Falcon. I like these cars. I would like to have a Fairlane or Galaxie trim model. A convertible would be really nice. I don't want to deal with a retractable hardtop. I don't care if the car has a inline six or V8. I would even get a station wagon. I just want to know how good these cars are. It will be restored to original. I want it to be reliable enough to drive anywhere, whenever I want. I just want everyone's opinions. Thanks in advance.
