3 Car accident, who's at fault?

The truck is at fault for hitting you, but you're at fault for hitting the car in front of you. I know it's stupid, but that's just the way it is. This happened to me and my insurance company sued the insurance company of the person who hit me from behind and they had to pay for the damage to both cars because I couldn't control the accident.
